In Echo, you join a young boy on a journey from his home town to a lush and exotic location, driven by a deep longing. This point-and-click adventure immerses the player in poetry and cultural symbols, capturing the beauty and challenges of a life in transition.
You’ll explore three key locations: a harbor area, an exciting cave system, and lush botanic Gardens. Each place represents a stage in the boy's internal journey, featuring simple puzzles and interactions that reflect a search for meaning and belonging.
Indietopia loves games and innovative technologies. The platform has ties with all relevant universities in the North. The team also collaborates with cultural institutions and small businesses, enabling interns, graduate students and developers to work on inspiring assignments. Recent examples are the exhibits ‘Arranged Realism - Art in Games’ in Museum Belvédère Heerenveen and ‘Ede Staal: mijn Groningen – mien Grunnen’ in Museum / Borg Verhildersum.
Journey with a boy whose path overseas invites you to explore themes of transition, poetry and belonging.
